2009 April 16th, Turunç

Alpine Swifts arrived Turunç. Five Alpine Swifts, a Swift and two Red-rumped Swallows seen together with Barn Swallows and House Martins on the north. A Cormorant and a Yellow-legged Gull standing on a rock together on the north rocks by the shore. Heard the call of a Scops Owl in the west forest at 20:00. A Great Tit, a Blackbird, House Sparrows and Collared Doves.

2008 October 13th, The Lake Köyceğiz

Hundreds of Cormorants (nearly 300) in the pine wood by the lake at Kızlan Location, nearly thirty or fourty Little Grebes on the southeast of the lake, again lots of Little Grebes, three Little Egrets and a Marsh Harrier after the biggest island on the east of the Lake Köyceğiz.

Two Cormorants, two Little Grebes, a Marsh Harrier and a Grey Wagtail at Sultaniye Location (southwest of the Lake Köyceğiz).

2008 October 13th, Hamitköy

Hundreds of Cormorants, ten Little Grebes, nearly fifty or sixty Little Gulls flew close to the water surface, Barn Swallows and more than hundred Coots at Hamitköy Location (northwest of the Lake Köyceğiz).

2008 October 13th, Köyceğiz

Three Cormorants, nearly twenty Little Grebes, three Little Egrets, two Kingfishers, a Moorhen, a Whiskered Tern flew over the Cormorants at Karabatak Location near the Köyceğiz Harbour (northeast of the Lake Köyceğiz). A Kingfisher at the harbour.

2008 October 13th, Horozlar

Six Hooded Crows, ten Corn Buntings perching in a leafless bush, a Little Grebe in the canal, a Marsh Harrier, four Little Egrets perching in the dead tree and fifteen Little Egrets together in the marsh, a Kingfisher flew off after Dalyan Mud Baths and two Kingfishers perching on the reeds near the marsh where I saw the Little Egrets, three Moorhens in the branch of the canal after the mud bath and six Cormorants in a pine wood by the mud bath at Horozlar.

2008 October 18th, Dalyan

A Peregrine Falcon and a Kestrel (both in flight), two Kingfishers in the canal, four Cormorants in flight and a dead Cormorant in water, two Red-backed Shrikes (both juvenile), a Spotted Crake in the branch oh the canal before the farm, fifteen Crested Larks, Hooded Crows at the other side of the canal, three Willow Warblers, three Goldfinches, heard the song of a Cetti's Warbler in the reeds, House Sparrows and Collared Doves around the farm by the Dalyan Canal.

2008 October 26th, Dalyan

A Sardinian Warbler at Maraş Str., a Cetti's Warbler, a Cormorant, a Kestrel on the top of an electricity poll, ten Hooded Crows, fourteen Meadow Pipits, three Crested Larks, four Stonechats, a Kingfisher, two Chiffchaffes, a Goldfinch, Collared Doves and House Sparrows around the farm by the Dalyan Canal.

2008 October 28th, Fethiye

Two White Pelicans, lots of (nearly thirthy) Yellow-legged Gulls and a Cormorant at the harbour of Fethiye.

2008 November 17th, Dalyan

A Little Grebe, seven Cormorants, a Water Rail, a Moorhen and three Kingfishers by the Dalyan Canal, five Black-headed Gulls and a Yellow-legged Gull seen over the canal where the excavation house overlook Dalyan.

2009 February 16th, Dalyan

Two Little Grebes (one was in the branch of the Dalyan Canal flanked by the reeds near an apart before the bridge and the other was in another branch of the canal on the way to İztuzu Beach), five Cormorants in the canal near the farm, a Great Egret by the canal near the farm flew away and perched on a tree at the other side of the canal, a Grey Heron was feeding by the canal near the farm, a Yellow-legged Gull over the canal.

2009 March 22nd, Turunç

A Cormorant has been seen in the sea this morning when I was at the port, dived into the sea several times and opened its wings and flew off, a Yellow-legged Gull, a Raven at the same rocky hills, a Great Tit, a Blackcap, two White Wagtails, a Black Redstart, three Chaffinches, a Kestrel over the resort center and it flew to the graveyard area on the north and then it disappeared in the background of the pine wood, Barn Swallows and House Martins, House Sparrows and Collared Doves.

2009 January 16th, Turunç

Two Rock Nuthatches on a rocky cliff by the sea (one alighted on ground and strolled around the boats hauled up onto shore), a solitary Cormorant swam near the shore, three Yellow-legged Gulls soared over the shore near the rocky place, a Common Buzzard fly off the hills on the north (it can be same one seen on 2009 January 2nd), two Black Redstarts, a Robin, three Chaffinches, a Great Tit, House Sparrows and Collared Doves.
